Oh wow! I've been saying for ages that I've wanted to put Artime into Hiem's Mansion. Look at him now! He's packed up his bags and he's actually joining his sibling inside the walls. If only she wanted him around.

Family: Artime's family consisted of a mother and father, a twin sibling (Razori) and 4 half siblings, Viktor, Alexei, Aglaii and Naida. Unlike Razori, Artime was never truly acknowledged by his father. Thus this led to him gaining a lower post than his sister. He never directly complained about this, seeing it more as an opportunity to control a small part of his life. This also led to him having a stronger relationship with his mother than his father. Although he was prohibited from seeing her, Artime would take whatever chance he came across to go and visit her. Due to this Artime knows more about his family than his father told him. He knows secrets about Razori that not even she knows herself. Artime truly respected his family, thus tried to look out for his twin sibling, even though this had dire consequences.

Natural Species

Artime is a Weissen, being part of a clan of timid creatures who lived in the Russian mountains. Each Weissen has white/silver hair, pale skin and blue in order to camouflage them within the mist and keep themselves from being seen by other species (aka, more dangerous predators). Being a peaceful clan, the Weissen’s lives are calm, only leaving the home of their mountain peak in times of war, sorrow or if they are called upon to help allying species. To keep this peace maintained, the rules of society (in the village) are incredibly strict, most children being brought up in households where punishment is constant in their routine, in order to install discipline and adherence to the older generation. In the village, each person is given a specific job, relating to their title and status, during each stage of their lives having their choices made for them by the leader of the village (such as who they marry, where they are to live). The village works as a unit to keep itself stable.

With religion, the Weissens believe in many Gods and Goddesses, each relating to different parts of nature/ the natural world. They believe that the entire collection create harmony in their world, the signs of them falling apart being shown through changes in the weather (e.g. Storms showing that the Gods are fighting, Sunny days showing that they are at peace). Festivals are quite frequent in the Weissen culture, celebrating these Gods, as well as special times in the Weissens lives (such as 15 when they are officially seen as adults or specific festivals in order to get to know their selected mates)

Diet wise, the Weissen’s normally eat whatever they can find on their mountain, that being meat, fruit/ vegetables or anything, the usual drink being water. They only receive alternative food or drink when a high ranking Weissen has returned to the mountain or if they have been ordered to leave their home to aid other species (however this rarely happens), thus only very high ranking Weissens/ the leaders family are able to try other sorts of foods.

When selecting clothing for Weissens, most of them wear a lot of fabric, attempting to dress as warm as possible as they are used to the cold weather( the wind, the rain, the snow, the mist), thus it is normally to see them walking around in furs, the females wearing thick dresses, while the males wear large coats. Being modest in their appearance, most Weissens will try not to show any skin, thus attempting to look attractive through the patterns of their clothing. The common man/woman will only wear white, using it to camouflage themselves and also to show that they are part of the clan. The only people who are able to wear anything different is the leader, wearing purple in order to distinguish who they are and their status in the village. The leader’s family are allowed to wear purple, but only appear to wear it during festivals, wearing white during other periods of time.

Implanted Species

Due to specific activity in Artime's past, he is no longer a full Weissen. Like his sibling he has a blood demon implanted inside him. This has caused his blood to crystallize whenever it is in contact with air. Thus we have blood crystals. However, unlike Razori, Artime has greater control over his demon. He has learned to accept it and works with it to strengthen his abilities. Although he knows that this may have drastic effects on his health in the future, it is a risk he is willing to take.

During his time in "The Organization", Artime was able to hone in his abilities, but only uses them when he truly needs to. He is not a man of violence, and tends to try and avoid it when possible. The use of his blood allows him to create traps and weaponry. But he avoids creating blood bombs, finding them to be crude and a waste of blood.

With every strength comes a cost. Artime knows already that his body is too badly infused with the demon. It is slowly eating away at his strength. Artime possesses more strength than his sister, but this does not mean that it will last. The demon will make him weaker and weaker as he gets older. With the lack of ability to control the demons powers, they will go haywire, hardening the blood inside of him, at first causing problems like circulatory blockages, until causing organ failure due to entire crystallization of circulation. Artime does not seem to be afraid of this happening, in fact he seems to already accept this a fact and take it in his stride.

If his early demise does become inevitable, it will be during his mid 40's or 50's.

Strengths

Quick thinking: Artime has a brain and most certainly knows how to use it. Taking time in a fight to think through a strategy, or to know when to walk away can be a great strength. Artime uses this to fullest and only displays his abilities when he truly needs to. He is a strategist and tends to keep his plans to himself, hoping that they will aid him in the future.

Artime prefers short distanced attacks, rather then going from long distanced. Being quite talented with his physical attacks and use of blood weaponry, this can make him quite a threat.

Calm and Understanding: Being quite the quite type, Artime is quite mature of his age. Hardened by experienced and the world's hand, he has learned that people need to be understood in order to reach their full potential. He is a kind man and tries to refrain from verbal blows. It is only when he has to does he actually strike out or lose his temper.

Weaknesses

Lack of agility and speed: Although his physical attacks are quite strong, when he is trying to dodge things, this can be quite difficult. Due to his large build, it makes him much slower and thus a target for people to hit.

Lack of defenses: As Artime mostly focuses upon his offensive attacks, this can leave him wide open to alternative blows. There is nothing to protect him, aside from his own physicality. Thus if you hit him in the right spot? He might be out for the count.

His own emotions//guilt: Artime can feel a great deal of empathy for others around him. Thus if people distract him with their words, he will usually stop the conflict and try to help them instead. This has been his achille's heel numerous times, especially with his sister. He feels pity for her, yet when he tried to help her, she spat it back in his face. He gave her freedom and she abused it. Artime wishes to put this right, yet cannot without feeling guilt.

The Heat: Due to being a Weissen, this means that he is used to a colder climate, thus when he is in a hotter environment, it becomes a struggle from him. The heat wears on him physically. Normally it causes him to become quite faint, struggling to keep himself upright or thinking straight. Thus he cannot fight during times of heat.

Background/Past Being a Weissen child this meant that Artime was brought up in a strict life style. He was disciplined and expected to follow the rules of his family, especially since he was part of the leaders household. However what Artime did was the opposite. He did not do anything malicious or destroy anything, but he would sneak out from his home to explore, or he would go to see his mother. Little things that would just satisfy his cravings. Of course he was regular disciplined for this, but this did not turn the young boy away from doing what he wanted to do.

After this Artime's life is relatively unknown. From Razori she has stated that he disappeared after he was sent away on a few missions from the village. All that is truly known is that Razori blames Artime for abandoning her in her time of need. Although she admits he was the one who helped her escape, she will refuse to acknowledge that he saved her life. She constantly claims that he betrayed her, and had a hand in having the demon implanted in her womb. Artime appears to be saddened by this, but does not appear to want to confront her on this... yet

Personality:

Artime has been regularly described as an old man with a young man's body. He acts far more mature than what his appearance lets on and doesn't let many things distract him from his objects, or just ruin his day in general.

When Artime does speak, he tends to be quite quiet, acting reserved and soft spoken until he gets used to his alternative. As soon as he feels comfortable around them, then he will start to act calmer and more friendly.

Artime tries to be kind to others, but when he finds himself going in a circle with the person, he tries to pull himself back from them. This empathy he feels is one of his major flaws as he tries to hard to help people, used emotionally to suppose others whilst asking for barely anything in return. This has led to a major flaw in his personality and caused him to become quite quite compared to what he was like in his younger years.

Fun Facts

If Artime takes off his shirt, then one will be able to see a collected plethora of smooth crystals on his stomach area. This is where his blood demon resides. If anything touches it, then the person might be able to feel something wriggling inside. It's alive!

He does not feel comfortable showing off any of his skin. Even if it is just to go swimming, he would rather refrain than show his body off. This is not because he feels insecure or disgusted with himself. It is because he feels that it more respectful to refrain from flaunting himself. He is disappointed in his sister for doing this. Whenever he hears her bragging about her men, he feels sickened, knowing this is disgracing her and their family line.

There is a marking on his face that he refuses to talk about. It is the marking from the organization that he is part of, but it also demonstrates another useful ability. This ability is unknown.

He plays the piano/organ

When it comes to relationships and sexual escapades, Artime appears to be dreadfully uncomfortable with them. No, Artime is not a virgin, but he refuses to talk about this. It was most certainly not a rape, but he feels guilty for partaking in it and giving the person hope. There is only one person's affection that he is seeking, and he appears to be failing in this quest. It is possible to have a relationship with Artime, but to take it above the threshold of friendship? That may be difficult. Very Difficult

His mirror self: He is no more than a little boy of 8. Artie is happy and cheerful and seems to express himself quite easily. However Artie is quite naive and so can be abused easily by the other reflections. Artime feels a fatherly connection towards his mirror self, so gets on with the young boy quite well. He has asked Mirror Razori to look after him.

Artime: *It is in the middle of winter and Artime and Razori sit on top of a hill. They are no older than 10. It appears as if they are star gazing* Ah! Razori, Look at that star. Do you see how fast it is going? *he smiles widely, his eyes wide and curious as he keeps his gaze retained on the sky* It's on a journey. It's going somewhere important, I just know it.

Razori: *she frowned, tilting her head as she watched the star with lidded eyes* ... That...seems stupid...Why would something so useless be going on a journey? There doesn't seem like a point?

Artime: *He blinked, turning his gaze to look at his sibling. A small smile covered his lips as he reached over towards his sibling, bringing her into an embrace* Just trust me. The littlest things in life seem to always end up having the biggest purpose. *He chuckled, patting the pouting girl's shoulder before looking up again at the sky* I mean, we all have one, so why can't they?

Artime frowned lightly as he walked about the dark halls of the mansion. Strange, there were only a few residents about and yet the opening had just begun. He had truly expected a lot more than this. Oh well. He tutted softly under his breath, making his way towards the Moon Tower. The young man was calm, now understanding his way about the tower itself. All that needed to happen now was for him to learn the other parts of the mansion. He still found it easy to get lost, but at least he was getting there slowly. It was a start at least.
